FAQ

Why do I need a travel agent?

A good travel agent is a travel expert who understands everything associated with planning and booking the perfect trip. They can give advice on places to go, as well as how much you’ll need to spend and how long to spend there.

Most people only have a one or two weeks to set aside for a vacation, so it’s helpful to have an expert plan the most efficient itinerary to fit in all the best things and generally get the most out of your limited time.

There are many reasons to book your trip with Ruppert Travel.

The most important reason is peace of mind, we will take care of you from the 1st call to the moment you are back home.

We take care of everything from booking your flights and hotels to planning your itinerary and arranging for transportation. We also have access to exclusive deals and wholesale prices, which can often save you money on your travel arrangements.

Does it cost me money to get a quote?

No, it does not cost money to get a quote from Ruppert Travel. Simply fill out our online form or give us a call, and will be happy to provide you with a free quote for your trip. We look forward to helping you plan the perfect vacation!

Does it cost more to book my vacation with Ruppert Travel?

Absolutely not!  Many people might be hesitant to work with a travel agent because they think it will cost them extra money.

They may also assume that they’ll spend more money working with a travel agent than when booking vacations on their own.

The fact is that travelers do not pay more for vacations when working with a travel agent and instead, often save more money than they would if booking online.

Not only do travel agents have access to exclusive deals, but they keep track of current vacation promotions, can advise you on the best time to book, as well as calculate the value of what you will receive.

Travel Assistance

One of the best benefits of using a travel agent is the travel assistance that you will get in working with an actual person, versus the Internet.

The personalized attention that you will  receive is an essential component to the success and overall enjoyment of your trip.

Quite simply, when working with a travel agent, they take care of everything.

From the moment you set foot in the destination to the moment you touch the ground back home, dedicated travel assistance is an undeniable benefit of using a travel agent.

Do I need Travel Insurance?

Yes. We highly recommend travel protection, it’s important to protect your trip investment and loved ones. We will offer you the best option for your vacation.

Destination Knowledge

Travel agents uncover new destinations and are constantly on the lookout for the best trips and travel recommendations.

Likewise, they are the best resources to contact when looking to book unique places to stay in the USA and beyond!

Not only do travel agents travel the world to serve as a resource for their clients, but they have an abundance of other travel-related resources to answer your questions quickly and correctly.

Their recommendations cater to various travel purposes, whether it be family, group, or multi-generational leisure or business-related travel.

Does Ruppert Travel have access to things that I don’t? Sold out events, better rates at beautiful hotels, airline tickets I can’t find online?

The answer to this one is yes and no.

Travel professionals develop relationships within the industry that can often open doors that, at first glance, may appear to be closed. They may be able to find tickets to a sold-out event… but don’t wait till the last minute and expect those tickets at rock bottom prices!

Through our partnerships, we often have “buying power” that an individual consumer can not match. Sometimes that means better rates at the resort you are interested in, sometimes the price may be the same, but we can get access to upgrades or included amenities that are not available to the general public!

Quite often we can get our clients options like room upgrades, complimentary breakfast, room credits, free transportation or other “extras” all for the same price you would have paid if you booked it yourself.

It’s crucial to understand travel agents don’t own the resorts, entertainment venues, cruise ships or airplanes. They sell available inventory (rooms, tickets, spaces on an excursion, etc.), but they can’t create new inventory if it doesn’t exist. If your heart is set on an overwater bungalow at a resort that only has 20 available, or orchestra seats to see for a Broadway play on your anniversary, it’s always best to plan well in advance and give Ruppert Travel time to pull all the available strings in your favor!
